The loggerhead Turtle prefers the warm waters of tropical and subtropical waters. Adults usually stay close to mainland shores. They were sometimes found in intemperate water. They prefer costal bays as well as shallow water along the continental shelves or the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. They are sometimes found in open seas. The loggerhead turtle feeds on crabs, mollusks, and sponges which means it is a consumer.
