Directions to Our School

Where We Are Located

Federal Furnace School is located in West Plymouth and can be easily accessed from both Route 3 and I-495.

We are approximately 40 miles south of Boston,
30 miles from New Bedford, and 20 miles from Cape Cod.

From Two Different Starting Points

Boston: RT-3

Take RT-3 South to Exit 6B "Samoset Street to Carver" (36 miles).  At the second traffic light, Pilgrim Hill Rd., take a left.  At the end of
Pilgrim Hill Rd., take a right.  This is Summer Street.  Continue straight.  Summer Street becomes Federal Furnace Road.  Federal Furnace School is at 860 Federal Furnace Rd. (on your left).

New Bedford: I-495

Take I-195E and travel for approximately 16 miles.  Follow 1-495, RT-25 and travel northwest for 2.4 miles.  Take Exit 2, "RT-58 Carver/W. Wareham" and turn right onto RT-58.  Continue for  six miles (Tremont Street, Carver becomes Federal Furnace Rd., Plymouth at the town line).  Federal Furnace (School is on your right).
