WELCOME TO PLYMOUTH SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Plymouth Special Olympics is now gearing up for its seventh season of training and competition. We are a year round program of training and competition to benefit young children from the age of eight and up and their families. Athletes are provided the opportunity to develop physical fitness, to prepare for entry into school and community sports programs, express courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympians, and the community.

Volunteers are a big part of our successful program. A Unified Partner is a player as well as a friend to the Athlete. Volunteers are always needed to assist in fund-raising, public relations, coaching, games management, outreach to new athletes, and volunteer management.

Check the "Bulletin Board" in the OCM and the cable station "Schedule of Events" for further information.
